The Organizers

The Council of Young African Leaders (CYAL)

The Council of Young African Leaders in an incorporated organization in New York with a vision to inspire the next generation of Africans leaders by challenging their ideas and thoughts in appreciation of Africa’s diversity. The organization was founded in 2011 by young Africans with the mission to cultivate leadership from awareness to action through Networking, Cultural Celebration and Opportunities for Lifelong Engagement with Africa.

 

The organization has successfully developed and organized three annual conferences in New York City with more than 300 attendees. These have been supplemented with several other programming that aims at training young Africans on the value of building business and marketing skills while providing both mentorship and volunteering opportunities. Core to CYAL’s mission is engagement of Diaspora African with Africans on the continent. The organization’s Pan-African initiatives pave the way for projects that insist on connecting young African professionals in the Diaspora to young African professionals and students of the continent.

 

 

 

Le Club de l'Economie et de la Finance Africaine (Le CLEFA)

The African Economical & Financial Club (Le CLEFA) is Pan-African Think-Tank, with a vision to redefine Africa both economically and financially by empowering the youth to fully unleash their potentially as either students, entrepreneurs or young professionals.

 

The organization strongly believes that in order to discuss and find solutions to Africa's daily obstacles to development, the youth should be fully engaged and participants in the process. To do so, there should be a greater focus on harnessing relationship between the youth in the Diaspora, and those in the continent.
